Leonardo R. Giacchino, Ph.D.

Dr. Leonardo R. Giacchino is a Partner at Solutions Economics, LLC. Over the course of more than 20 years, he has worked in more than 30 countries on over 100 projects addressing economic and regulatory issues for U.S. and International businesses, investors, governments, and organizations. Dr. Giacchino is also an Adjunct Professor at the Washington College of Law (American University) and at Universidad de Mendoza in Argentina.  Previously, Dr. Giacchino was a Partner with Bates White LLC and Vice President at NERA, where he provided economic analysis and advisory services in regulated markets, and he served several positions at two private oil companies in Argentina. Dr. Giacchino earned a B.S. in Economics from Universidad Catolica Argentina, and M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from Duke University.                                                                                                                                                                    

Jonathan A. Lesser, Ph.D.

Jonathan A. Lesser is the President of Continental Economics, Inc., an economic consulting firm that provides services on a broad array of regulatory, market, investment, and environmental issues affecting all segments of the energy industry. Previously, Dr. Lesser was a Partner with Bates White LLC.  He also held positions at several electric utilities and served as Director of Planning at the Vermont Department of Public Service. Over a career that has spanned thirty years, Dr. Lesser has testified before numerous U.S. state regulatory commissions, before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, international regulators in Latin America and the Caribbean, and in U.S. federal and state district courts. Dr. Lesser earned a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from the University of New Mexico, and M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Washington (Seattle).
